The Philadelphia Flyers are looking to put an end to the Billy Penn Curse this year by winning the Stanley Cup. If that wasn't enough pressure for them the added fact that they are playing their cross state rivals from Pittsburgh should have been enough. But the Pa Turnpike Series added even more pressure when Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato made a wager with Philadelphia's Mayor Michael Nutter. If the Penguins win the upcoming series, Ravenstahl and Onorato will reportedly wear Flyers jerseys and drop the puck when the two teams meet next season. But if the Flyers win, Nutter will drop the puck while wearing a Penguins jersey.
No pressure Flyers, just go win it!!!
